BCC Planning Inc. is a woman owned small business registered with the Small Business Administration. Formed in 2005 as an s-corporation, BCC Planning Inc. has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of meeting and event planning. President, Bridget Chisholm was most recently (2006 - 2011) managing an annual conference with 1,000 attendees for NAAEE (North American Association for Environmental Education) where she had the opportunity to work on developing sustainability initiatives.  Six years previously (1999 - 2005) she was with JOI (Joint Oceanographic Institutions, now the Consortium for Ocean Leadership) where she was Director of Meetings,Travel, and Special Events.  In the early 1990s Bridget worked with Earth Day USA organizing logistics for the artists performing at  Earth Day Concerts at Foxborough Stadium in Massachusetts.  Artists such as Bruce Hornsby, The Indigo Girls, Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, The Kinks, Joan Baez, and dozens more came together annually for an all day concert event to help raise awareness about the importance of Earth Day.

Sustainability

I am passionate about implementing sustainable practices at the events I organize.  I am interested in working with clients that embrace the work necessary to decrease their carbon footprint.
